Sonim Technologies Receives $25M Acquisition Offer from Orbic North America

Sonim Technologies, a provider of rugged mobile solutions, has received a $25 million unsolicited, non-binding acquisition offer from Orbic North America to purchase substantially all of its operating assets. The proposal will not interfere with Sonim's ongoing Reverse Take Over (RTO) transaction with a private US-based company developing Nvidia-based High-Performance Computing technology. Sonim's Special Committee is reviewing the offer with legal and financial advisors, and no stockholder action is required at this time. Despite the acquisition offer, Sonim faces significant financial challenges, including a net loss of $33.65 million in 2024 and cumulative losses of $86.45 million from 2021 to 2024.
