Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, revealed in a recent interview that she secretly converted to Christianity during her childhood out of curiosity about wine served during mass. Growing up in a Christian school in Bandra, she got baptized to taste wine, stating, "I was always very cunning" and adding she attends church every Saturday. Sunita, who identifies as half-Punjabi and half-Nepali, shared that she visits various places of worship, including dargahs and temples, and her parents were never aware of her baptism. She also discussed cultural differences in her marriage, noting her transition from wearing miniskirts to traditional sarees, which Govinda disapproved of. Additionally, Sunita mentioned receiving offers to join the reality show Bigg Boss but expressed reluctance to participate. The couple has been married since 1987 and has two children.
