He emphasized his dedication to Spanish golf, stating he feels it is his duty to compete in the Spanish Open. Despite his intentions, the DP World Tour has yet to confirm whether he will be allowed to play, as he continues discussions regarding the fines. European captain Luke Donald has stated that the qualification rules will not be altered to accommodate Rahm.
