Devon Tandem Skydive Deaths Investigated by Authorities
Belinda Taylor, a 48-year-old mother of four, and her instructor Adam Harrison, 30, died during a tandem skydive from 15,000 feet at Dunkeswell Airfield in Devon after their parachute failed to open. Taylor had opted at the last minute to double her jump height from 7,000 to 15,000 feet. The accident, which was caught on camera, is being investigated by Devon and Cornwall Police, British Skydiving, and the Civil Aviation Authority. Skydive Buzz, the operating company, expressed heartbreak and pledged full cooperation with inquiries. Tributes have poured in from family, friends, and the skydiving community. The final report from the British Skydiving Board of Inquiry will be submitted to authorities once the investigation is complete.
