Wynne Man Arrested for October 2024 Brinkley Teen Shooting

Arkansas State Police arrested 18-year-old Aaron Ishmon of Wynne in connection with the October 2024 shooting of a 15-year-old girl in Brinkley. The incident occurred on October 13, 2024, when the girl was shot multiple times inside her home on North New York Street. Ishmon was taken into custody on April 11, 2025, in Jonesboro and charged with committing a terroristic act and first-degree battery. The Brinkley Police Department requested the state police to handle the investigation.
