Gorillaz Announce The Mountain Album, Ireland Tour 2026

Gorillaz have announced their ninth studio album, The Mountain, set for release on March 20, 2026, via their new label KONG. The album features 15 tracks with diverse guest artists including Sparks, IDLES, Johnny Marr, Paul Simonon, Yasiin Bey, and contributions from deceased artists such as Bobby Womack and Dennis Hopper, and includes songs performed in multiple languages like Arabic, Hindi, Spanish, and Yoruba. The band, depicted as living in Mumbai and focusing on mystical music-making, recorded the album across various locations including India, London, and Los Angeles. The Mountain will be available in several formats including digital, CD, vinyl, and a deluxe collector’s box, with artwork by Jamie Hewlett illustrating the band’s time in India. Alongside the album, Gorillaz announced The Mountain Tour, kicking off in Manchester on March 21, 2026, and including stops across the UK and Ireland, culminating in a large show at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 20. Opening acts for the tour include Sparks and Trueno, and fans can access presale tickets through the band’s mailing list before general sales begin.
