Investigation Underway in Bayesian Yacht Tragedy

Four victims of the sinking of tech tycoon Mike Lynch's superyacht, the Bayesian, suffocated in air bubbles filled with carbon dioxide, according to autopsy results. The victims, including banking executive Jonathan Bloomer and lawyer Chris Morvillo, showed no signs of water in their lungs, indicating they did not drown but rather ran out of oxygen while trapped below deck during the storm that sank the yacht. The vessel went down off the coast of Sicily on August 19, resulting in the deaths of seven people, including Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter. Investigators are looking into possible negligence by the crew, as the yacht sank rapidly, and have initiated a manslaughter inquiry against the captain and two crew members. Meanwhile, the yacht will be raised from the seabed as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident.
