The report criticized Wadhwa for failing to uphold professional standards and for not providing women-only spaces, a violation of national service standards. The review, prompted by a former employee's legal action, found that some survivors felt unsafe and damaged by their experience at the center. ERCC has apologized and admitted mistakes, pausing referrals and committing to an action plan to rectify the issues. The organization will recruit a new CEO and implement the review's recommendations to ensure survivors' needs are prioritized.
