Family Guy Temporarily Takes Over Simpsons' Slot

Fox has announced the return dates for its popular Animation Domination Sunday night block, with Family Guy premiering its 23rd season on February 16, 2025, followed by Grimsburg, The Great North, and Krapopolis. The Simpsons will return to its regular 8 p.m. time slot on March 30, after a brief hiatus, marking a rare instance since 1993-94 when it didn't open the block. During this period, Family Guy will temporarily lead the Sunday lineup at 8 p.m. The changes also affect Bob’s Burgers, which will return later in the season. Meanwhile, The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers are concluding their current two-season orders this spring, with Fox yet to announce renewals. The new season of Family Guy will feature episodes parodying Top Gun and other comedic storylines.
