Fiserv plans new fintech hub, creating 2,000 jobs in Overland Park

Fiserv, Inc., a Fortune 500 global financial technology company, is set to open a new Strategic Fintech Hub in Overland Park, Kansas, bringing approximately 2,000 technology and operations-related jobs to the state. The project will be housed in 427,000 square feet across two buildings on the Aspiria campus, the former Sprint property, and is expected to generate $6.5 billion in economic impact over 10 years with average annual salaries of about $102,000. Fiserv chose Overland Park for its central location, affordable living, access to a growing tech talent pool, and proximity to its Midwest client base. The company will invest $175 million in the hub, pursue LEED certification for sustainability, and plans to provide high-value career options, including opportunities for military veterans and local graduates. The hub is scheduled to open later this year and marks the largest office recruitment in Kansas history, reinforcing the state’s position as an emerging center for financial technology innovation. This expansion is viewed as a major milestone for both Fiserv and Kansas, promising significant growth and prosperity for the local community.
