Multiple UK Road, Footpath Closures Announced for Repairs October-November

Several road and footpath closures are planned across different regions for maintenance and safety works in the coming weeks. In Coltness, Wishaw, Tweed Crescent will be closed from November 10 to 14 for resurfacing, and North Kilmeny Crescent from November 17 to 20 for patching, with limited vehicle and pedestrian access and specific diversion routes for crossing the closures. Nottinghamshire's A52 will experience overnight lane closures for nine nights over two weeks to inspect and clear drainage systems following flooding caused by heavy rainfall in January, aiming to prevent future flooding issues. In the Wakefield area, multiple road closures are scheduled through October and November for water supply connections, resurfacing, gas main replacements, and other infrastructure works, with diversions provided. Additionally, Herefordshire Council announced closures of footpaths ME13 and WQ10 due to damaged footbridges, with alternative routes provided for WQ10 but none for ME13, lasting up to 12 months or until repairs are completed.
