Six Inducted Into Television Academy Hall of Fame

The Television Academy will induct six legends—Viola Davis, Conan O’Brien, Ryan Murphy, Henry Winkler, Mike Post, and the late Don Mischer—into its 27th Hall of Fame class during the inaugural Televerse Festival on August 16, 2025, at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles. All honorees are Emmy winners recognized for their groundbreaking work in acting, production, music composition, and live-event creation. The Hall of Fame, launched in 1984, has honored over 150 influential figures in television. Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego and selection chair Rick Rosen praised the inductees' transformative leadership and lasting impact. The induction ceremony will be open to both Academy members and the public. Tickets are available for purchase as part of the festival.
