A 90-year-old woman died from severe facial injuries sustained during an assault by a 77-year-old male resident at Agape Villa Care Home in Roseville on August 28. The victim was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center and succumbed to her injuries on September 3. The suspect, also a memory care patient, has been relocated to another facility while the investigation continues. Roseville Police emphasized their commitment to a thorough investigation and support for the victim's family. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending family notification, and no arrests have been made yet. The case will eventually be forwarded to the Placer County District Attorney's Office for review.
