FSU Softball Projects No. 4 Seed in NCAA Tournament Bracketology

As the 2025 college softball postseason approaches, Florida State University (FSU) is projected as the No. 4 overall seed in the NCAA Division I Softball Tournament, marking a significant improvement from last year and positioning them to host a regional for the 11th consecutive season. The ACC is prominently represented, with nine teams projected to make the tournament and four, including FSU, likely to host regionals, trailing only the SEC in both categories. Meanwhile, in Division II, IUP softball was included in the initial NCAA Atlantic Region Rankings, reflecting their strong season record, while West Texas A&M was listed among the 10 South Central region teams under consideration for the NCAA Tournament, with the first seeded rankings to be released soon. The Division II postseason structure will see top regional teams advance through tournaments in May, leading up to the Women's College World Series in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
