The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its 11-member squad for the first Test against Bangladesh, starting on August 21 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. This Test marks the debut of Jason Gillespie as the team's head coach. The squad features a strong pace attack with Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Khurram Shahzad, and Mohammad Ali, while Saud Shakeel and Salman Ali Agha will serve as spin options. Notably, Aamir Jamal has been released from the squad due to an ongoing back injury, impacting Pakistan's lineup.
