Halle Bailey Granted Temporary Restraining Order

Halle Bailey has been granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend and father of her child, rapper DDG (Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.), after alleging repeated physical, verbal, and emotional abuse following their October 2024 breakup. Bailey's filings describe multiple incidents, including a January 2025 altercation where she claims DDG pulled her hair, slammed her face into a steering wheel, chipped her tooth, and verbally abused her in front of their son, Halo. She also alleges DDG harassed her via text, broke into her home, destroyed her Ring camera, and discarded her phone, as well as used his online following to incite harassment. The restraining order mandates DDG stay at least 100 yards away from Bailey and Halo and prohibits him from possessing weapons until a full hearing occurs in June. Bailey provided photographic evidence of her injuries and has been allowed to travel to Italy with their son for work. DDG has not publicly responded to the allegations, and the case remains ongoing.
