Dan Orlovsky Signs Multi-Year Extension With ESPN
Dan Orlovsky, a former NFL quarterback and Emmy-winning analyst, has agreed to a new multi-year contract extension with ESPN. Orlovsky will continue his roles on 'NFL Live,' 'Get Up,' 'First Take,' 'Monday Night Football,' and as part of ESPN’s No. 2 NFL broadcast team, as well as his college football coverage. He joined ESPN in 2018 after a 12-season NFL career, mainly as a backup. The extension comes amid interest from other media outlets and after Orlovsky considered stepping away from broadcasting. Financial terms have not been disclosed. The deal drew public congratulations from fellow analysts and NFL figures, including J.J. Watt.
