Adobe Integrates Premiere Mobile with YouTube Shorts
At Adobe MAX 2025, Adobe announced a partnership with YouTube to integrate Premiere mobile into YouTube Shorts via a “Create for YouTube Shorts” space accessible from an “Edit in Adobe Premiere” button, letting creators use exclusive effects, transitions and templates and publish directly to Shorts without leaving the app. Premiere mobile is available on iOS today and Android beta preregistration is open, but Adobe did not provide a firm launch date for the Shorts integration. Adobe also unveiled broad AI upgrades across Creative Cloud, including Firefly Image Model 5 (public beta), AI assistants in Photoshop/Express/Firefly, Generative Fill with third‑party models, Generative Upscale (Topaz), Harmonize compositing, AI Object Mask and Assisted Culling in Premiere, and AI soundtrack and text‑to‑speech tools. The company emphasized AI as an assistant that speeds workflows while keeping creators in control and announced enterprise offerings — GenStudio and Firefly Foundry — plus partner integrations with Google, OpenAI, Runway and Topaz. Many features are rolling out in private or public betas and Adobe has not provided exact release dates as it balances product rollout with investor scrutiny.
