Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma received a death threat allegedly from a prisoner at Dausa Jail, who made the call to the police control room late Saturday night. The police traced the call back to the jail and have taken the inmate, who is serving time for a rape conviction, into custody for questioning. Nine mobile phones were recovered from the location, raising concerns over how the inmate accessed a phone. The police are investigating the incident further, and the identity of the accused has not been disclosed for security reasons. Inspector General of Police Anil Tank confirmed that the inmate confessed to issuing the threats and is under ongoing interrogation. Authorities are taking the situation seriously and have initiated a thorough investigation into the security breach.
