Volkswagen Launches Redesigned 2025 Tiguan

Volkswagen unveiled the redesigned 2025 Tiguan ahead of the 2024 Los Angeles Auto Show, featuring a new MQB Evo platform, increased power from a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine now producing 201 horsepower, and enhanced fuel efficiency due to a lighter build. The exterior sees significant changes, including a new front fascia and three new paint colors, while the interior boasts a revamped infotainment system with a 12.9-inch screen and digital gauges. The Tiguan remains competitive in the crowded compact SUV market, facing off against rivals like the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V. Meanwhile, the Golf GTI has received updates for its 8.5 version, focusing on improving the criticized infotainment system while maintaining its performance with a 0-60 mph time of 5.4 seconds in Clubsport trim. Notably, the 2024 model will be the last offering a manual transmission, with the GTI 380 package serving as a farewell to this feature.
