Manassas Police Arrest Suspect in Teen Abduction

Jesus Enrique Ramirez Cabrera, a 23-year-old Peruvian illegal immigrant, was arrested in Manassas, Virginia, for the alleged abduction of a teenage girl who was walking to school. The incident occurred on September 5, when Cabrera, driving a red Jeep SUV, falsely identified himself as a police officer and forced the girl into his vehicle. She managed to escape when the vehicle reached Quarry Road, prompting a police investigation that led to Cabrera's identification and arrest two days later. He faces multiple charges, including abduction and impersonation of law enforcement, and is being held without bond at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center. Concerns have been raised regarding Cabrera's immigration status, as he was previously captured at the Arizona border and released into the U.S. Police do not believe any other suspects were involved in this incident.
