AEW has announced that the annual Anarchy in the Arena match will return for the fourth consecutive year at Double or Nothing 2025, following a chaotic main event on the May 15 episode of AEW Dynamite Beach Break. Swerve Strickland issued the challenge to The Death Riders, The Young Bucks, Gabe Kidd, and other stars, setting up an intergender brawl that promises to be one of the most epic iterations yet. The match concept originated in 2022 as a successor to the Stadium Stampede matches and has become a staple of AEW's Double or Nothing pay-per-view, known for its wild, violent, and blood-soaked action across the arena. The recent Dynamite main event featured a brutal steel cage match for the AEW World Championship between Jon Moxley and Samoa Joe, ending with interference from New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Gabe Kidd and culminating in the cage being lifted for a massive brawl. The confirmed participants for the upcoming Anarchy in the Arena match include top AEW and NJPW stars such as Kenny Omega, Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, Powerhouse Hobbs, Willow Nightingale, and Mike Bailey, but AEW has yet to officially announce the full lineup.
