Cedi Osman, the Turkish forward and former NBA player, has officially signed with Greek basketball club Panathinaikos, as announced by the team's owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos on Instagram. This marks Osman's return to European basketball for the first time since 2017, after spending several successful years in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs. Last season, he averaged 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. Osman's signing strengthens Panathinaikos' roster as they prepare for the upcoming EuroLeague season, despite earlier rumors linking him to Real Madrid. The negotiations for his transfer reportedly progressed quickly, and he was also a target for the Los Angeles Lakers.
