An attempt to derail a goods train in Rajasthan's Ajmer district was thwarted when the train collided with cement blocks placed on the tracks, shattering them. The incident, which occurred between Saradhna and Bangad stations on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, saw two 70 kg blocks placed one kilometer apart. No injuries or significant damage were reported, and police are investigating the matter. This event follows a similar incident in Kanpur where an LPG cylinder and petrol were placed on tracks. Authorities have registered a case and are searching for the perpetrators. The Railway Protection Force and other officials are actively monitoring the situation to prevent further threats.
