On Thursday night, Boulder police arrested Karl E. Haglund, 48, after he drove his truck onto Folsom Field, home of the Colorado Buffaloes, following a series of hit-and-run incidents. Witnesses reported Haglund's blue pickup truck striking several trees and signs before fleeing the scene and eventually ramming a gate to enter the stadium. University police issued an alert about the significant police presence, advising the public to avoid the area, and Haglund surrendered without resistance shortly thereafter. He faces multiple charges, including vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief. Fortunately, no injuries were reported on campus during the incident. The Buffaloes are set to play their next game on September 21 against Baylor, following an away match against Colorado State.
