Apple Prepares to Launch M4 MacBook Air Models

Apple is set to launch updated 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models in early 2025, featuring the powerful M4 chip, which boasts a 10-core CPU and GPU, offering a 25% performance increase over the M3 chip. The new models will come with 16GB of RAM as standard, double the previous minimum, enhancing multitasking capabilities. Significant upgrades include a 12MP Center Stage camera that keeps users centered during video calls and supports Desk View, along with improved connectivity through three Thunderbolt 4 ports. The devices are also expected to provide better power efficiency and extended battery life. While there are no major design changes anticipated, the MacBook Air models are expected to be announced as early as January, ahead of the iPhone SE 4. Other Apple product announcements may follow in the spring.
