Rock the South Moving to Decatur June 2026
Rock the South will move from its longtime Cullman site to The Fields at Decatur for a three-day festival set for June 11–13, 2026. Organizers say Peachtree Entertainment owns the new 150+-acre property, enabling long-term infrastructure investments including expanded campgrounds with engineered drainage, more shade and fan-hangout areas, and a second stage. The festival, held at York Family Farms in Cullman since 2012, has run for 15 years, draws tens of thousands of fans and has hosted major country and rock acts such as Jelly Roll, Hank Williams Jr., Eric Church, Nickelback and Kid Rock. Festival leaders framed the relocation as building on — not abandoning — its Cullman roots and said the move will allow the event to grow and offer enhanced amenities. Fans at this year’s festival praised the community atmosphere and Southern hospitality as organizers prepare for the Decatur chapter.
