LeAnn Rimes, Kimberly Williams-Paisley Join '9-1-1: Nashville' Cast

LeAnn Rimes and Kimberly Williams-Paisley have joined the cast of ABC's upcoming drama "9-1-1: Nashville," a spinoff of the popular "9-1-1" franchise, set to premiere in the 2025-26 season. They will star alongside Chris O'Donnell, who plays fire captain Don Sharpe, and Jessica Capshaw, who portrays his wife, though Rimes' and Williams-Paisley's roles remain undisclosed. Rimes, a Grammy-winning country and pop singer, and Williams-Paisley, known for her roles in "Father of the Bride" and "According to Jim," both bring strong Nashville connections to the show, which is being produced by 20th Television and Ryan Murphy Television. The series continues the expansion of the "9-1-1" universe, following the conclusion of "9-1-1: Lone Star" after five seasons. The show is executive produced by franchise creators Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, Brad Falchuk, and Angela Bassett. ABC and 20th Television have not commented on the latest casting announcements.
