2-Year-Old Killed in Oswego Portillo's Crash

A 50-year-old woman, who was the sole occupant of her vehicle, drove through the front entrance of a Portillo's restaurant in Oswego, Illinois, at around 2 p.m., killing a 2-year-old boy and injuring at least 14 others, with eight hospitalized and one in critical condition. The chaotic scene prompted emergency responders to perform CPR on victims, as the restaurant was crowded at the time. Authorities believe the crash was accidental, but the investigation is ongoing.
