Chloë Sevigny Seeks Role in New 'American Psycho' Film

Chloë Sevigny, who played Jean in the original 2000 'American Psycho' film, has expressed interest in joining Luca Guadagnino's upcoming new interpretation of the story by reprising her role with the help of reverse-aging technology. Sevigny pitched this idea directly to Guadagnino, who responded that he might consider another part for her instead. Casting for the new film is still in progress, with Austin Butler and Patrick Schwarzenegger among those rumored or expressing interest in playing the lead character, Patrick Bateman. The film, based on Bret Easton Ellis' novel and scripted by Scott Z. Burns, does not yet have a release date and is being produced by Lionsgate.
