These business activities coincide with ongoing negotiations between Vietnam and the U.S. aimed at avoiding steep U.S. tariffs on Vietnamese exports by offering tariff reductions and other trade concessions. Vietnamese officials have invited Eric Trump to a dinner and working sessions to discuss these projects. The Trump Organization and Kinhbac City have not commented on these plans. Separately, Vietnam is also attracting significant foreign investment in large-scale energy projects from companies in the Middle East, Japan, and other Asian countries, underscoring the country's growing role as a regional business hub.
