RHOSLC Star Britani Bateman Sued for $100K by Ex-Mother-in-Law

Britani Bateman, a cast member of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, is facing a $100,000 civil lawsuit filed by her former mother-in-law, Sandra Underwood. Sandra, 87, alleges that she loaned Britani the money in 2021, which was placed into a trust established by Britani's father, with Britani as a trustee and beneficiary, and that Britani used the funds for personal benefit without repaying them. The lawsuit claims Britani acted with fraudulent intent and has refused to return the money despite Sandra's limited income and rising medical expenses. Sandra had also added over $200,000 to the trust intending to build a home on Britani's property, and her attorney demanded repayment in March, to which Britani did not respond. The trust, known as the Integrity Trust, was set up with the understanding that Sandra could withdraw money anytime, but Britani allegedly kept the funds unjustly. Britani has not publicly responded to the lawsuit, which adds to previous legal disputes involving her and her ex-husband.
