Florida Man Arrested for Murder of Elderly Man

Port St. Lucie police believe they have apprehended a potential serial killer following the arrest of 18-year-old Omarion Ivory for the murder of 67-year-old Francis Gennacem. Gennacem was found dead in his home with approximately 45 stab wounds, and no forced entry was evident, suggesting a random attack. Surveillance footage revealed Ivory canvassing the area shortly before the murder and later attempting to break into another home while armed with a hammer. Detectives linked the two incidents through clothing, stolen bicycles, and DNA evidence found on the hammer. Police assert that Ivory was likely preparing to commit a second murder at the time of his arrest, preventing further violence.
