Robertson, despite Baylor's team struggles, is one of the nation's top passers, averaging 339 yards per game. The award, often called the "Academic Heisman," provides finalists with an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship, with the winner receiving an increased amount and recognition at the National Football Foundation's annual awards dinner in Las Vegas.
