Kelechi Iheanacho has officially joined La Liga club Sevilla on a two-year contract after completing his medical examinations in Spain. The 27-year-old Nigerian striker arrives as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Leicester City, where he made a significant impact over seven years. Sevilla welcomed Iheanacho with posts on social media, highlighting his heritage, and he becomes the second Nigerian player at the club this summer, alongside Chidera Ejuke. The move aims to bolster Sevilla's attacking options after a disappointing 14th-place finish in the previous season, and Iheanacho is expected to replace Youssef En-Nesyri, who recently transferred out.
