The song features a piano sample from Buddy Emmons' album and was inspired by a dream that lead singer Jim James had, reflecting themes of the flexibility of time. This new album will be the band's first in over three years and is produced by Grammy-winning producer Brendan O’Brien, signifying a shift from their previous self-production approach. James expressed his newfound willingness to collaborate with an outside producer, describing the experience as liberating.
