Three members of a Victorville family were tragically killed in a single-vehicle crash on the 210 Freeway in Rialto early Sunday morning. The victims, 57-year-old Maria Concepcion Ortiz De Santiago and her two children, 18-year-old Steven Banuelos Ortiz and 19-year-old Jacqueline Alexandra Banuelos Ortiz, were ejected from their Cadillac Escalade after it lost control and caught fire. Witnesses reported that the vehicle veered across lanes before leaving the road and crashing down an embankment. Emergency responders found the vehicle engulfed in flames upon arrival. The precise cause of the accident, including whether speeding or impairment were factors, remains under investigation. Authorities have not determined who was driving at the time of the crash.
