Malik Dunbar Released by Caledonia Gladiators

Malik Dunbar, a 28-year-old basketball player, was recently terminated from the Caledonia Gladiators in Scotland following allegations linking him to a murder case in the U.S. Dunbar was named a suspect in the shooting death of Arthur Braxton, who was killed outside a restaurant in Augusta, Georgia, on October 4. The Gladiators stated they were unaware of the allegations when they signed Dunbar in December and have since launched an internal review regarding the circumstances surrounding his signing. Both Dunbar and teammate Jared Wilson-Frame had their contracts terminated due to a 'serious breach of club discipline,' though the specifics of that breach remain undisclosed. Caledonia Gladiators emphasized that they received no prior allegations during their due diligence.
