Multiple Fatalities in Two Scottish Crashes

Separately, a 59-year-old woman and four horses died in a collision involving a Mercedes and a MAN box van on the A737 near Howwood, Renfrewshire, early Monday morning. The horses had escaped from a nearby field, causing multiple vehicles to strike them, and police are seeking information and dashcam footage from witnesses. The road in Renfrewshire was closed for nearly 11 hours for crash investigation work.
