The lawsuit alleges that 'Flowers' copies the melody, harmony, chorus, chord progressions, and certain lyrics from Mars' song. Despite Mars not being a plaintiff, Tempo Music, which owns a portion of the song's copyright, seeks financial compensation and wants Cyrus barred from performing or distributing 'Flowers.' The suit highlights that the similarities are too significant to be coincidental. Cyrus and her team have not publicly commented on the allegations.
