CFL Playoffs Begin Nov. 1; Grey Cup Nov. 16

High school football playoffs are starting nationwide: Tennessee opens with 113 first-round games Friday, Nov. 7 (Division II championships begin Dec. 4, Division I Dec. 5), Alabama's brackets are set with state championships slated for Dec. 3–5 at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Arizona's AIA has released 3A–5A brackets while 1A–2A continue this week, and Minnesota's section champions will play quarterfinals Nov. 6–8. The 2025 CFL playoffs begin Nov. 1, with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Saskatchewan Roughriders earning first-round byes while contenders such as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Calgary Stampeders vie for the Grey Cup. The Grey Cup is scheduled for Nov. 16, with U.S. and streaming coverage expected on CBS Sports Network, CFL+ and SiriusXM. NFL ticket demand is high for 2025 as roster moves and draft picks drive fan interest: the Tennessee Titans added top pick Cam Ward after a 3–14 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Heisman winner Travis Hunter at No. 2, and the Indianapolis Colts expect Anthony Richardson's return alongside new additions. The Houston Texans are viewed as a rising contender under coach DeMeco Ryans, and the Pittsburgh Steelers' offseason addition of Aaron Rodgers and other veteran signings has further boosted ticket demand.
