Two Arrested in Florida Sex Trafficking Case

Yenire Karolina Pacheco Leiton, 33, from Colombia, and Enyerbert Alberto Blanco Blanco, 27, from Venezuela, have been arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida, for allegedly sex trafficking a missing 15-year-old girl from New York. The girl, who had been missing since September 12, was found at a motel where she reportedly met with multiple men, with Pacheco Leiton coordinating the encounters. Charges against Pacheco Leiton include 10 counts of human trafficking of a minor, while Blanco faces charges of interference with custody and resisting arrest. Sheriff Ric Bradshaw criticized the failure of the vetting system at the border, highlighting Blanco's prior arrests for attempted murder and drug trafficking. Both suspects are being held without bond, and further charges against Blanco may be forthcoming as the investigation continues. A news conference is scheduled for Monday to provide additional details on the case.
