Netflix is adapting Marian Keyes' bestselling 2020 novel Grown Ups into an eight-part drama series, currently filming in Dublin. The series follows the turbulent lives of the Casey family, an Irish clan bound by loyalty, resentment, money, memory, and love, whose dynamics are upended by the unexpected death of the 'good son,' sparking a year of emotional reckoning. The star-studded cast includes Aisling Bea as Cara, Barry Ward as Johnny, Sarah Greene as Jessie, Robert Sheehan as Liam, and Adrian Dunbar as Canice, among others. Marian Keyes, who is an executive producer on the project, praised the care taken with her characters and expressed that seeing the adaptation come to life is a 'succession of dreams come true.'
