The Roots Announce Class of '95 Concert

The Roots have announced 'A Roots Picnic Experience: Class of ’95,' set to take place on June 8, 2025, at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The event will celebrate the influential hip-hop music from 1995, featuring performances from notable artists such as Method Man & Redman, Lil’ Kim, E-40, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Raekwon, DJ Quik, Goodie Mob, and Havoc of Mobb Deep, with The Roots serving as the backing band. Questlove highlighted 1995 as a pivotal year for hip-hop, marking their first major release and a time of creative explosion within the genre. This concert follows the recent success of the 'Roots Picnic: Hip-Hop Is the Love of My Life' event, also held at the Hollywood Bowl. Tickets will go on sale on December 11 at 10 a.m. PT. The Roots Picnic, launched in 2008, has evolved into a celebrated festival highlighting hip-hop culture and artists.
