Houston Hosts Expanded Black Future Newsstand Exhibition Across City and East Texas

Fixins Soul Kitchen, owned by Kevin Johnson, serves as a cultural home for African Americans, emphasizing the roots of soul food as a tradition born from survival. Meanwhile, the Paradise Valley Historical Advisory Committee has been actively recognizing historic properties in the town, preserving the area's heritage by nominating homes and businesses for the Historic Property Recognition program.
