Junaid Khan Sentenced for Drug Supply Crimes

A gang led by kingpin Junaid Khan has received jail sentences totaling over 20 years for supplying Class A drugs, including cannabis and cocaine, primarily in the East Lancashire area. Khan himself was sentenced to nearly nine years following Operation King, which uncovered extensive drug dealing after a warrant was executed at his family home in October. Evidence from mobile phones revealed that gang members, some starting as young as 14, were involved in large-scale drug trafficking across Burnley and Bradford. Lancashire Police are committed to combating drug supply and have emphasized the importance of public reporting of suspicious activities. Det Sgt Stu Peall stated that these sentences serve as a warning to those involved in exploiting vulnerable individuals for profit. The operation is part of a broader initiative, Operation Warrior, targeting serious and organized crime in the region.
