Rays' Aranda, Lowe Named American League All-Stars

Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Jonathan Aranda and second baseman Brandon Lowe have both been selected to the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, earning their spots through player votes. Aranda has had a breakout season leading American League first basemen in batting average, on-base percentage, and OPS, while Lowe is having his best season since 2021, leading AL second basemen in home runs, RBIs, and slugging percentage. Lowe recently ended a team-record-tying 20-game hitting streak due to soreness but expects to play in the All-Star Game.
