Alvvays to Reissue Debut Album for 10th Anniversary

Canadian indie pop band Alvvays is celebrating the tenth anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a reissue set for November 15, 2023. The album, originally recorded in 2013 and featuring acclaimed singles like 'Archie, Marry Me', has been remastered by Bernie Grundman and will include the new deep cut 'Underneath Us'. 'Archie, Marry Me' recently surpassed 100 million streams, highlighting the band's significant impact in the indie music scene. The reissue will also feature a cerulean blue vinyl edition and related merchandise, including a hand-drawn poster and a jigsaw puzzle. The album showcases a range of emotions, tackling themes of love, societal expectations, and personal struggles within its concise 30-minute runtime. Alvvays, initially formed in Prince Edward Island, has evolved into a celebrated act, recently earning a Grammy nomination for their song 'Belinda Says'.
