Swiss federal prosecutors have launched an investigation into potential electoral fraud after the advocacy group Service Citoyen uncovered thousands of fake signatures in voter rolls. Advocacy group co-president Noemie Roten reported that nearly a third of the 10,000 signatures collected were suspected to be fake, leading to a 236-page report submitted to the Swiss attorney-general's office. In a similar vein, police in Dresden, Germany, are investigating manipulated ballot papers linked to the right-wing extremist party Free Saxony, with approximately 100 fake ballots identified. The investigations in both countries highlight growing concerns over electoral integrity and public trust in democratic processes.
