William, Kate to Miss BAFTAs for Family Vacation

Prince William and Kate Middleton will not attend the 2025 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) due to a family vacation on the Caribbean island of Mustique. This decision comes despite Prince William's role as BAFTA president and follows their tradition of prioritizing family time during their children's school holidays. The royal couple and their children flew to Mustique after a stop in Saint Lucia, where they are reportedly joined by Kate's mother, Carole Middleton. The couple has missed the BAFTAs previously, with Kate last attending in 2023, and William attending solo in 2024. This vacation marks their second holiday in recent months, following a ski trip in the Alps. They will nonetheless appear in a video package during the awards ceremony.
